About Us

The mission of Home & School is to support and supplement the students of Highlands Elementary and their education. All parents and guardians are automatically a member of Highlands Home & School. Our organization is entirely run by awesome parent volunteers. All of our school events and programs benefit every student at Highlands Elementary.

In a typical school year, our Home & School volunteers run many programs which benefit all Highlands students. Some examples include: field trips, digital school directory (Directory Spot), Art Awareness, Book Cart, school and teacher wish lists, and many more. In addition to Home & School programs, School and Family Community Partnership (SFCP) volunteers put together a number of enrichment events for students and their families like Parent Pizza Night, Grandfriends’ Day, One Book One School, Cultural Kaleidoscope and the Egg Drop.
